  • No product will be accepted for return, repair, or replacement without the buyer first obtaining a Return Authorization (RA) number from J-4 Design. 
  • J-4 Design cannot be held liable for any returns or repairs sent without obtaining a Return Authorization (RA) number.
  • The J-4 provided RA number must be clearly labeled on outside packaging to ensure acceptance of shipment and correct disposition at J-4 Design. Packages not labeled with an RA number will be refused and returned to the sender.
  • Initial terms shall be prepayment via credit card or ACH transaction. No other forms of payment shall be accepted without prior approval from J-4 Design. If the customer has established credit terms with J-4 Design, purchase orders will be accepted. 
  • Customers are responsible for paying all return shipping and packing fees on non-warranty repairs. Warranty repair shipping and handling fees responsibilities are per manufacturer.  
  • There will be a per item Evaluation Fee of $45 if there is no problem found, it is deemed unrepairable or not economical to repair, and/or the repair is declined for any reason.
  • The J-4 Design labor rate for Bench Service is $102 per hour plus the cost for parts . The Evaluation Fee is included in the one-hour minimum. 
  • Approval will be required for Bench Service repairs exceeding $300. 
  • Repaired fixtures/boards that are with J-4 Design longer than 45 days due to non-payment will become property of J-4 Design.
